Welcome to the Worship Arts Ministry!
Valerie De Leon, Worship Arts Leader, has recently joined New Life from Denver, Co. She is has been involved in different music ministries from a Christian blues band to contemporary for the past several years. Valerie's passion is to see people really engaged in praise and worship, to see them experience the power and strength the Lord gives them when they truly let go and let God and allow the spirit to move in their lives. "When we praise and worship Him... it’s an offering, a thanksgiving, a joy because He is powerful beyond our understanding. Even when our flesh (the enemy) tells us we are unworthy, this is the time we should truly seek Him; He has shown all of us LOVE, MERCY, GRACE, COMPASSION, FORGIVENESS and this is why we are able to lift our voices, our hands and SING of what he has done in OUR lives."
We love to worship God through our talents. God is a creative God, He created the heavens, the earth, and everything in it, and we love to worship Him through our creativity! The Worship Arts Team goal is to create moments where people get lost in worship through expressing ourselves through our instruments and talents that God has given us. We desire to use our talents to create freedom for the Holy Spirit to move and minister to the people.
Our team consists of people from a variety backgrounds, all of whom bringing a different dimension to the Worship Arts Team. Finally, we play a variety of Praise and Worship music that reaches people from all different backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures-- playing everything from contemporary christian, gospel, progressive worship, hymns, and original music.
Media and Production Team:
Our Media and Production Team works hard at creating the visual and audible atmosphere that our congregation experiences every Sunday morning. The lighting team works diligently at creating an atmosphere for our worship through finding new ways to illuminate the stage and create a dramatic, lively, and intimate worship setting.
The media team works hard to create lively countdowns, videos, and other media to enhance the service. And finally, our sound team works hard at using their talents on the sound board to create dynamic atmosphere experience every Sunday.
