MISSIONOur mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this by creating irresistible environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, community with insiders and influence with outsiders. |
MINISTRY STRATEGYOur ministry environments are designed to function like the rooms in a home. We invite guests to the foyer, develop friendships in the living room and grow as a family around the kitchen table. The following will explain the role of each room, as well as give you examples of existing environments. |
| Foyer: Definition: An entrance. It’s the place in your home that serves as the welcome area for guests and new friends. It’s the first step, and it’s often your only chance to make your guests feel comfortable enough to return. That’s exactly how we want to design our entry environments at New Life. Our Sunday morning celebration service is a “foyer” environment. We want our guests to come back, so we do everything with them in mind. This is where most people will experience NLWC for the first time, and they serve as the perfect place to introduce newcomers to life at New Life Worship Center. Living Room: Definition: A room in a home, with sofas, chairs, etc., used for social activities, entertaining guests, etc. When guests arrive and are welcomed into your home, you invite them into the living room. Everyone finds a comfortable place to sit, and the interaction begins. At New Life this is where you connect with people like yourself. Smaller and more interactive than the foyer environment, these gatherings offer genuine opportunities to begin friendships…like the living room in your home. For newcomers, this environment is the Newcomer’s Fellowship. Kitchen: Definition: a room or place for the preparation and cooking of food. This definition does not help us much, does it? But think about it. What is the most popular room in your home? Where do you end up when friends or family come over? The kitchen. This is where lasting friendships are made. And that’s the kind of environment we are striving for in our small groups. Small groups are where people meet regularly for Bible study and prayer, and commit to accountability, friendship and support. They are the safe place to open your heart, share your life, and ask tough questions. Small group opportunities for adults include Life Groups, Starting point, and Crown. Small groups are where life change happens here at New Life. |
PARTNERSAs a member we will ask you to move beyond simply participating in these incredible environments. We are going to ask you to partner with us in creating, leading, and funding our environments as well.Creating relevant, life changing environments is neither easy nor inexpensive. But with your help we can continue to impact our community through this unique approach to ministry. |

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONSThe application will ask for information about the following three pre-requisites that will be important in your role as a member.1. Since our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, it is essential that our members have a relationship with Jesus Christ. We will briefly ask you to tell us about your relationship. If you’d like a simple explanation of what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, you may click here. 2. We believe that the Bible is clear about God’s desire for each of us to make a public profession of faith through baptism. If you haven’t been baptized since accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, just mark no when asked on the membership application and we will contact you. You may click here to access more information on baptism. 3. We equate membership with involvement. We will ask about your involvement on a strategic service team or in a small group. If you would like to apply for membership before you have completed the above, please continue to the application. We will contact you to assist with baptism or getting connected in a small group or strategic service team. When all three qualifications are complete, your application will be processed for membership. We want to make this experience as easy as possible for you. So, if any section is unclear or if you have questions, please click here to contact someone in membership. If you do not need assistance please click here to proceed to the application. We look forward to serving with you at New Life. |
